2: Organelle function activity sheet: Students read and match organelles to their functions. ( Again, this includes an easel version)
3. Organelle Analogy Card: Imagine if the cell were like a factory, what would the organelles be? In this activity student match the organelle to their appropriate analogy and suggest a reason why.
4. Organelle analogy Cut and Past Sheet: This is alternative to the cards. Students cut and paste and match analogies to the cell parts. Afterwards, they write the reasons for their match. ( There is an easel version too)
5. A review GAME: Students play "KEEP THE POINT or GIVE THE POINT" game to review the cell. This is a class favorite. Teams battle to answer review questions. Afterwards, they are faced with a dilemma: An unknown point will appear on the next slide but their must choose to either keep it or give it to the other team before it is revealed. The catch is they don't know if the point is positive or negative. There are 20 questions in total. I enjoy playing this game. And it's so fun to watch students' reaction all through out the game.
